Noblesville Schools announced Monday that its Board of Trustees is one of only five in Indiana to earn an Exemplary Board award through the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA).

Additionally, Christi Crosser, Stephanie Lambert, and Misti Ray earned individual board member distinctions for their professional development accomplishments. Dr. Joe Forgey already reached the highest level of individual distinction in 2022, and new board member Bret Richardson will be considered for individual recognition in future years.

“Noblesville Schools is fortunate to have a high-functioning board where each member shows great dedication to best serving the students, staff, families and community,” Noblesville Schools Superintendent Dr. Dan Hile said. “I’m proud of the work the board has done to learn, grow, collaborate and problem solve, and look forward to seeing how their strong leadership will continue to enhance our great schools.”

The Exemplary Governance recognition of excellence honors school boards who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to public service, and the highest levels of commitment to student success, continuous improvement, and professional learning.

Earlier this year, the board announced a new strategic plan and shared commitments to establish clear expectations and respectful collaboration among board members.

The Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees is made up of five elected community members, with president Christi Crosser, vice president Stephanie Lambert, secretary Dr. Joe Forgey, and members Misti Ray and Bret Richardson currently serving.
